Recruitment of Pastor for English Congregation We are a Christian church based in Auckland, New Zealand. ECF Holy Word Church of Auckland (HWC) is one of the many churches within the Evangelize China Fellowship. HWC has been established since 1994 when it was first started by a small group of Cantonese speaking Chinese immigrants. By Gods grace the church has grown rapidly and over the years the church has developed its Mandarin Ministry and English Ministry. To date we have over 300 people across the 3 congregations. We are now seeking for a Full/Part time Pastor for our English congregation. The applicant should be a mature and devoted Christian that has calling to serve in pastoral ministry. Key Role: - To work with existing HWC Ministry leadership teams. - To plan, develop, implement and evaluate English Ministry. - To help recruit and train volunteers to ministry. - To develop pastoral relationships with a congregation of over 100 people. Personal Qualifications and Qualities: - A holder of Bachelor, Post Graduate Diploma or Master from a Bible or Theological College. - Strong Christian faith and character, well-respected in church and community. - Able to communicate fluently in English as well as basic Cantonese/Mandarin. - A love for people and proven gifting in communication with and relating to them. - Be prepared to work for more than 20 hours per week. - Previous experience in youth ministry preferably.
