Recycle, Reuse, Reduce The problem is ‘not in my backyard’ factor. Whenever we want to make a dumping site, the people in the area take the matter to the court and the space is not allotted. It was supposed to be in Narela but was stopped. In my initial remark, I had mentioned about three things – recycle, reuse, reduce. Whatever can be recycled should be recycled, so that there is less garbage. Whatever can be reduced, we should do it. Like construction waste can be converted into bricks, like they do it at the plant in Burari, Jahangirpuri. The wet garbage would be less. If the wet garbage is less in quantity, there are other ways to treat it. The requirement of landfill site will come down-Shri Rakesh Mehta
