Red Devils Scrape Past Lions Cubs Manchester 62 just managed a 1-0 victory over a very tame and flat looking Lions side who look destined for relegation. The game was very lacklustre with Lions failing to impress yet again and even though they have made some key signings, they still dont look like a team that knows what they are playing at. It is very refreshing to see a team actually giving young local talent a chance but ultimately that may cost them in the near future, although without a shadow of a doubt will reap the rewards in the future! Manchester began the brighter of the two teams with Jordan Perez having a superb game in the Lions goal, saving shot after shot after shot. His shot stopping skills have never been placed into question as he literally kept Lions in the game during the entire 90Minutes, thwarting any Manchester attack. Manchester did finally break through in the early instances of the Second Half after a melee in the box gave Jeremy Lopez an easy chance as he pounced on it and easily slotted it into the net. This, you might think, would spur a much needed Lions response, but it never arrived! Lions were tame, almost humbled by the goal and didnt have much say after that, even if Manchester were also rather poor. Manchester still have plenty of work to do if they want to recuperate last years form, although with the young talent they have a their disposal coupled with their experienced players they will safely stay up in the division. Lions though will struggle to remain in the league with their poor recent form. 5Point4 MoTM goes to Jordan Perez, who kept his side in the game throughout its entirety. He had a solid game as he saved everything he humanly could, especially one save from Alvaro, the Manchester Winger which he tapped onto the post. 5Point4 Bringing Sports To You
