Red House - Jimi Hendrix (1967 original)... I love the sound of Jimi Hendrix music, as I cant explain the connection it makes inside me, I feel with it as if it is a part of me, the first time I heard his music, it changed my life, an it just was like the way I heard it, I understood it, an it truly touched my soul as it was a part of me that, was like I rediscovered some of myself, or some thing in some way, and some how, the snarl, the blues, the out of tune, an the way it harmonically sounded, it just fit an made me believe in the sound, that expression, their is just a way it feels, an I sense this in every way when I make music. I put this song up from time too time... This is my favorite song in the entire world, the sound of the blues guitar is incredible, the grooviest words too the song, the lyrics they speak of a story, so many times repeated an is a link, I dig that is the solid bond an is as, so many similarities that Jimi an I share... The sound is the greatest that forever changed Rock N Roll history, did Jimi the Voodoo Child, cuz you cant stop a Voodoo Child, who picked up all the pieces and made an island, whose money raised some sand, as what he did is stand up next too a mountain, an chopped it down with the edge of his hand, he then said he doesnt need you no more in this world, as he didnt mean too take up all your sweet time, he will give it back too you in the next one, and dont be be late, dont be late... Almost like he dreamed, had a vision, or took a trip, well, lol, maybe all of the above... Certainly LOVE, this man, I do, his greatness is, and was meant too be, as he changed history, an musically, the world!.. An if one certainly listens too his music, you can hear it in every thing ever since, he let the world know that he, changed what he could while he was allowed.
