Red House Arts Center Talkback Series: Touching Base Multiple showings from Friday, January 24th through Saturday, February 8th This Talkback Series event features the performance of an acclaimed Broadway show, Next to Normal. Next To Normal tells the story of a mother, Diane Goodman, who struggles with bipolar disorder and the effect that her illness has on her family. This contemporary musical with an unforgettable score is an emotional powerhouse that addresses such issues as grieving a loss, ethics in modern psychiatry, and suburban life. Discussions will follow performances, lead by Ishin Bill Cross (Friday, January 24th, 8pm), Shinge Roshi (Wednesday, February 5th, 8pm), and Jikyo Bonnie Shoultz (Saturday, February 1st, 2pm, and Saturday, February 8th, 8pm).
