Red Hughs Notes 13/10/2013 Lotto & 100+ Club There was no jackpot winning sequence in this weeks Lotto draw but Rosie Doherty, Gleneely match three numbers 3,1,7 to win €50. Numbers drawn were 3,1,7,4,2,8,5,6. Next weeks Lotto jackpot is €3,100. The Lotto sellers in the coming weeks are: 19th October - Kieran Bradley, 26th October - Joe Sweeney, 2nd November - Charlie Doherty and 9th November - Bernard Devine. Seniors, Reserves & U21 The seniors and reserves played away to Naomh Colmcille on Saturday evening. The reserves travelled without a number of regulars and were well in the game in the first half but the second half was one to forget for the lads and they ended up on the losing side. Well done to the lads for their efforts this season and to Kieran Neeson and his management team. The senior game was a fast paced encounter with a high standard of play on show from both sides. Red Hughs lead early on and were two points up at half time 0-6 to 0-4. The home side reduced the gap to a single point midway through the second half but it was Red Hughs who pulled away to win on a scoreline of 0-12 to 0-8. Well done to the lads. They now have to wait for other results before the final placings are decided in terms of a play-off. The U21 team are due to play Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon in the semi finals of the championship and this game is down to be played in Donegal Town this Saturday 19th October at 4.00pm. This is subject to change so keep an eye of local press and Facebook for any updates. Minor Board The underage training for U6-U10 boys and girls is on Saturday morning at 11am. U12 girls training on this Saturday morning from 11am-12 Noon. Hard luck to the U16 boys who lost narrowly to Glenfin in the semi finals of the Division 1 Championship Shield on Sunday.
