Red River Summer Show News! It was a great summer for AllStars Eva & Capone (Potter x Ruger) and exciting debut for Tempo (Windy x Baron) as we took to the ring for some adventures: Eva garnered multiple Best wins, several BREED and OPPOSITE over Specials and Best of Winners awards to bring her just a major shy of her Championship. All but 1 single earned in just 3 months of summer showing. Capone had a few hurdles getting started back in the ring, but by summers end had earned 2 more singles and strutted his stuff to a SPECIALTY WINNERS DOG for his second Major at the VCMA Inaugural Fall Specialty. His tally stands at 12 points with both majors......all points earned from the Bred-By Exhibitor class! Finally, baby Tempo who entered the big boy show ring in BIG style, at the VCMA specialty! Charming the judges with his baby wiggles, he wins his Sweeps class and his 6-9 puppy class the entire weekend. He also picked up a SPECIALTY Reserve Winners Dog (to his cousin Capone) and a Supported Entry Reserve Winners Dog....not bad for being two weeks over legal showing age!!! Its scheduled to be a quiet Fall/Winter here, with just a *couple* appearances in the field and in the ring....with the holidays just around the corner, we are breaking for time with family and friends...and letting the dogs enjoy their greatest job of all...being our family!!
