Red Zone by Rochel Our Quarterback (Pastor) is versatile because he can stand in the pocket (pulpit) and release the football (Word of God) to all willing and eligible players but he can also step out of his comfort zone so he can reach others in spite of double coverage or the defense blitzing. He’s not afraid to spike the ball (Word of God) when time is not on his side. Once the ball is spiked (spoken towards satan and his followers) the clock will stop so the prayers of the righteous can either go for three (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) or a Hail Mary Pass. Jesus is the son of Mary and only through Him can we truly gain Victory. He’s willing to “kneel down” before the Head Coach/Owner also known as King of Kings and Lord of Lords because he knows Victory is preserved through this act and accepts the fact that every knee must/will bow down to the name of above all names. This act may result in loss of yardage & some people but he must always remember he will never lose those God placed in his care only those with their own agenda. He is well aware he was not placed in this position to cause others to fumble with the word of God or allow the defense the opportunity to gain a soul. Our QB is unable to be a shepherd of God’s flock if we’re unable to recognize we all have different tasks within the body of Christ. Our QB is a man after God’s own heart and is held accountable by God for every thought and action so we must keep him uplifted in prayer while being accountable for our own words and actions as well. Running Backs (Ushers/Members) must be able to run with the Word of God and gain yardage despite the defensive line’s attempts to cause one to stumble and fumble with the Word. Wide Receivers (Intercessory Prayer Warriors/Members) must use their quickness to elude defenders while embracing their ability to stretch out and enter into God’s presence with praise and thanksgiving. They also must be light in weight because he or she has turned over all burdens to the one whose yoke is easy and burden is light. Offensive Guards/Tackles (Deacons/Members) must be willing to block the schemes and criticism of the defender by living in spirit and truth so the Word of God can reach those in need while providing protection to the QB so he’s not hit from his blind side.
