She was so convincing that as she paced back and forth in front of the Adams house wearing her silver- grey wig and polyester pants suit while memorizing her lines, a concerned neighbor chose to call the police to report a strange woman outside. The officer showed up and sat in his patrol car close by observing. True to her craft, she didn’t miss a beat and thankfully the bus arrived. She jumped on board, gave a great performance to the thrill of applause and when she left the bus, the police officer left as well. She was in character and nothing was going to ruin her performance!
