Redcliff Way looking towards the Temple Circus Gyratory from the bottom of Redcliff Hill. But then, it was Phibben St in the foreground, which disappeared off to the left, while straight ahead, was the narrower Pile St which joined Victoria St & Temple Gate (aka Gyratory today).
