Redlands man arrested for murder of 17-year-old Redlands boy Police arrested a 34-year-old Redlands man for murder in the death of a 17-year-old Redlands boy Wednesday night. Police arrested 34-year-old Erlindo Rodriguez Jr. of Redlands after the body of the Redlands East Valley High School student was discovered shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, in an alley in the 1000 block of Post Street. Redlands Fire Department firefighter/paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Further details are being withheld pending investigation. Rodriguez was transported to Central Detention Center in San Bernardino where he is being held without bail.
