Walsh Contact 00233 243 241 241 ghananationalrifleassociation@gmail We have two medal hopefuls in two disciplines going to Glasgow and with the construction of a purpose build facility at the Teshie Military range intensive training will commence shortly. This will be the first time a shooting team from Ghana has competed internationally and it affords Ghana a fantastic opportunity to compete at the highest level. The depth of talent is very impressive especially amongst the female shooters competing in the 3 positions which technically is the most difficult discipline. Competition for the four Commonwealth Places is tight with only two male and two female athletes in attendance. Each member of the squad is a serving member of Ghana Armed Forces and has extensive experience in their chosen discipline. The Chairman of the GNRA, Cillian G. Walsh, has expressed his sincere thanks to both OMA, Solmed Alliance, Scottish Caledonian Society Ghana and Ghana Armed forces for their continued co-operation and support of the Black Snipers. Trusting on your continued co-operation and support in promoting the lesser known sports and please do not hesitate in contacting us for further detailed information and athlete profiles.
