Dated.28-03-2013. Subject:-Request for providing meeting to discuss some burning issues. Respected S i r , With due respect, please refer to our earlier letter under Ref. of even no. dated 28-03-2013 wherein we have requested you to provide meeting as per your convenience to discuss some burning issues which are shown below:- 1. The Category-II officers are getting additional increment after regular interval of three years and it should be made at par with that of Cat-III officials. 2. Request for immediate marger of 50% D.A. with B.P. for benefit of the employee to beat/combat the inflation and escalation of price hike of all commodities. 3. The new appointees fringe benefit is very low and it should be hiked , so that they can get interest to continue their service in this corporation. 4. The qualified Category-IV and Ancillary workers may be promoted to Category-III Staff. 5. Immediate recruitment of Category-III employees in all Craders to meet-up the existing gap of skeleton staffs. 6. One member of each family should be given appointment in the corporation who compel to seek retirement on medical ground and this was in vogue, against the ancillary workers. 7. Computer advance for Category-IV employees. 8. C.P.F Loan/ Advance at present provided against B.P. + D.A. upto Six months and the tenure of the same should be extended upto one year. 9. The existing depots of the Eastern Zone are thirty to forty year old and needs immediate renovation in scientific manner, so that food grains can be preserved for longer period. 10. New norms for “Transit Loss” should be implemented on proper scrutiny of its methodical aspects. 11. Compassionate ground appointment should be given to next keen relaxing the age and qualification bar and the family of the deceased employee should be given salary on the basis of last B.P. + D.A. upto its left over tenure of service. 12. The new pension scheme should be implemented from 01.01.2007 as per M.O.U. and M.O.S. of wage settlement. 13. As the Panchayat Election already declared and staff Election going to commence on 2014, so the rotational transfer only existed in West Bengal Region should be avoided, to avoid unnecessary drainage of money and designated Secretaries may be exempt from the rotational transfer considering the staff Election of 2014. 14. Full C.P.F. part final should be given for Purchas of land as same as that for purchasing flat and part-final C.P.F. should be provided for Self-Marriage, Daughter & Son’s Marriage also. 15. Overtime allowance should be linked with operation and should be paid in next month without any bar of budgetary provision. 16. Designated Secretaries of our union should be given special leave alongwith TA/DA for attending meeting with FCI Management, R.L.C. etc. but it has been observed that the Secretaries of other union who has retired from F.C.I. Service but still getting T.A./D.A. & special leave for attending meeting. 17. Food Security bill can only be implemented unless and until the infractural development and mass-recruitment is done to run the corporation smoothly. Considering the above points, you are kindly requested to provide meeting to our union on top priority. It is learnt that other two unions of F.C.I. has submitted their agenda wise programme jointly, but it is state that the two designated Secretaries of different unions has already retired from F.C.I. and now they are ex-employees/ outsiders who has no right to talk with FCI Management as per the verdict of the office of the “Registered Trade Union” New Delhi, Labour Department, under Ref: F10/2217/RTU/NDD/2012/58 dated 11.01.2013. whereas our designated Secretaries are on service and in work fore and preserves every Wright to talk with the Management on behalf of their respective employees as representatives.
