Referring to TPLFs regime as state-centric development, as is - TopicsExpress

Referring to TPLFs regime as state-centric development, as is being repeatedly done by regime apologists like Merkeb Negash and et al., can only be a last ditch attempt to save a regime that is falling out with the entire Ethiopian people. It is flagrant to continue to characterize the regime as “developmental”, at a moment when it is engaged in a shooting spree against peaceful protesters and is arbitrarily jailing bloggers and journalists. The truth is TPLF is dictatorial to the core, unable to divorce itself from its rebel past, learn from its predecessors and act like a civilized government. Even the modest infrastructural expansion that the regime oversaw in the last few years is largely a gimmick, used to legitimize and extend the one-party tyranny rather than a genuine development effort benefiting the majority of the population. TPLF, and its camouflage called EPRDF, is a brutal dictatorship intent on staying in power for as long as it could!
