Reflecting back over the past year, it was 1 year ago today that I was BLESSED with a heart attack while shoveling snow. I say BLESSED because 1 major artery was 100% blocked with no prior indication. BLESSED because Carla was at home as was Granddaughter Payton and recognized the symptoms to call 911. Carla, I love you. Thank you for saving my life because I wouldnt have called for help since I had no pain. BLESSED because it took 40 minutes for EMS to get here due to treacherous roads but they were on the phone the entire time. BLESSED for nieces Krista Blaylock and Ashley Blaylock for being at Berkeley Medical Center and having available the Cream of the Crop STAFF available. BLESSED for the care I received while hospitalized and follow up rehab at the Dorothy McCormack Center. BLESSED for the early Dads Day gift from Son, Travis, which was a year membership to the gym that gave me motivation and purpose. He also shoveled snow the rest of the season. BLESSED for Daughter Mandy arriving safely at the hospital on that snowy day and staying. BLESSED for Son Wes for trying to get here but was unable to due to highways shutdown. He arrived back home safely and continuously called to get updates and visited as soon as highways were open. BLESSED for me to have a 2nd chance at life (once again) and make the right choices in lifestyle and profession. BLESSED for my family and friends (you ALL know who you are) that are too many to mention with the phone calls, cards, and support. BLESSED for my determination to bounce completely back. BLESSED for BORESHA Health and Wellness Products and the lifestyle change that has greatly and quickly improved my health. I lost weight and increased my energy level. All of our BORESHA Family that I have met and have communicated with have been outstanding. BLESSED for Gods intervention in my life so that there was no damage and I could fully recover extremely fast. Finally, BLESSED for my family and friends for your kindness and support throughout this time. I appreciate and love you all.
