Reflecting on 2014 it has been one heck of a ride,the support from old foe and new has been very humbling to say the least.Entertaining for myself has always been a hobby not a full time job for me and juggling running my own company along with rehearsing-studio work-family has had its challenges . For those who do not know me personally I am not a person who actually likes the exposure and never puts myself on a pedastool and never market myself as better than nobody.Music for me creates many challenges and is about meeting those challenges head on thus performing in order to make folk smile is important whether it be My Country music or Elvis covers.Sharing music for myself has made me the humble man I am and that I portray even in my day to day life,ya see I am also a true believer firstly to be an entertainer one must be humble as egos kill talent.2014 has been one of the most incredible years for me,finally completing my very first Country CD Beyond The Gravelwhich took a few years to finish but can advise recording and studio work is no easy task as many of my country songs I covered actually took over 15 takes to perfect to the standard I wanted to have come across.Live band & superb back up vocalists too,worked very hard and often there were many long days in the studio and sleepless nights but recording has been a blast had its challenges and ups & downs however one is always focussed on the finish line.If I may thank all my fans,each and every one of you whether your a solo artist-band-mother-father-brother or sister,your support has been overwhelming and for that I am so very thankful.So now 2014 is drawing to a close and Christmas is upon us I would like to wish each and every person reading this a very safe and Merry Christmas & may you all have a wonderful new year.What does 2015 have in store?Glenn Sullivan has already started work on his next Album and also very busy putting plans together for a corporate charity sit down catered dinner/auction for a Wellington charity where local businesses purchase each table (which will seat maximum of 20 persons)**more details to follow** + a live performance by Myself with a full backing band.I will also be heading to Memphis for the very first time after being an Elvis fan since 1976 at the age of 10 so am looking forward to spend time from August 2nd through August 22nd 2015 enjoying the Elvis week festivities and Graceland. 2015 you can also see myself as an entrant in The Elvis Down UnderElvis Tribute Artist contest here in Wellington New Zealand,where ETAS (Elvis Tribute Artists) from around New Zealand and Australia go head to head to win the Elvis Down Under 2015 title.There will also be videos of myself performing live in both Country Music and Elvis shows as I know yall wanting to see.Thank you so much for reading this rather long dialogue just wanted to allow more info as I move ahead as an entertainer and hope sincerely to have the continued support in 2015.Glenn Sullivan.
