Reflecting on Gods Word: Arise and go down to the potters house, and there I will cause you to hear My words. (Jer 18:2 NKJV) >> God spoke to Jeremiah where he was at-- to get his attention, but God didnt give him His message there at that place. God could have, but He chose, instead, to wait. Why? Because, it wouldnt have been the same. God wanted to SHOW Jeremiah something. God wanted to give him something in the physical to put with His Word, so that, Jeremiah would have a fuller understanding to Gods message, and therefore, would be able to translate it better to others. PLUS, by God giving him something in the natural, it helped to seal Gods message in his mind, so that it would be better remembered. God often does the same thing for us. There have been times where I was praying and just feeling His presence, but felt led to go somewhere. One time was just after talking to Wendy about a vision I believed God had given me. After we hung up, She was at the exact right place to have a visual given to her for confirmation. And while she was getting hers, I was down at the river praying and found a clean white feather in the midst of mud! About an hour later, I was at my office to get something and turned the calendar to the correct day and a verse was there waiting for me! It was: He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. (Psalms 91:4 NKJV)! God showed me something, then gave me a confirmation (and confirmation to a friend as a witness), and then led me to a place to just worship and GAVE me something I could hold on to which backed up His Word. Why? So that I wouldnt forget during the LONG road of getting to where He has promised me. YOUR TURN: How has God spoken to you, and led you some place to show you something to instill His message?
