Reflecting on musical discoveries made in my travels over the past - TopicsExpress

Reflecting on musical discoveries made in my travels over the past 20 years or so I remember with GREAT fondness the Habesha Restaurant & Night club on Bloor St. at Ossington Av. in Toronto On. Canada. I did a few shows there in 06. I told brother Ahasurus [Im just a displaced African trying to make it back home]; We laughed and I asked him to please turn the music up. The rhythm is quite joyful. Also I became overwhelmed at the deep sense of history. Ethiopia is one of a few if not THEE only country on the planet never conquered. The culture is still intact. Amarak the language is still spoken and written to this day and is the oldest language in existence. Her is Sister Selamawit with a newer release. youtu.be/ezQDyu_EZbQ
