Reflecting on the last weeks vacation in the Dominican republic, I was shocked most by the number of rude people. In an effort to explain it, I assumed alot of it could be wrote off to a clash of cultures from different countries. But that didnt explain it at all when observing others from that country. Bottom line, there are jerks from every country but it seemed that the bigger the jerk, the more miserable he/she was on vacation. For the rest of us, they were like the occasional mosquito, noticeable, but easily swatted away.
