Reflection of the day: Tonight after write a post on my views of psychological welfare I noticed that I always use the words social system vs the word society. When talking about those that live in America. Two things came of this thought. First I made sure I was using the words social system in the correct manner/context. After a quick search Im surprised to say that was was mostly correct. The better way is to call or address our Americans a collection of social systems. Ive used this description because I respect that stating that society as a whole has failed would be an unfair assumption and hasty generalization without true cause. The second amazing discovery is of the word holon. Defined as something that is simultaneously a whole and a part. For some they may have used this word often, but for me its a new word for a concept that Ive understood for many years. In short I love learning.
