Reflections after a much needed night of sleep. First the Sun did come up this morning. Second. Friends who are undergoing health issues have been getting successful treatments which I am very grateful. Third is understanding that in a democracy there will always be winners and losers. While I am extremely disappointed in most of the outcomes I am mostly concerned about my friends and acquaintances who lost last night- Linda Stewart, Joe Equality Saunders, Karen Castor Dentel and Charlie Crist. They all have my gratitude and admiration for the jobs that they have accomplished. And congratulations to Eric Rollings, Alan Grayson and Tiffany Moore Russell for their successful campaigns... Over the years I have seen successful election nights along with devastating ones but all in all we always survive and we just persevere to accomplish our goals at a later date. Regardless of what happened last night I am still blessed because of the wonderful person I have in my life who means everything to me. His love is more valuable to me then all the elections combined and that is what keeps it all in perspective. Peace.
