Here is Rabia Zaheer - 3rd Place: 2014 Seerat un Nabi competition: https://youtube/watch?v=rZnv2YqAtIA Assalam Alaykum wa Rahmatullah, This past Saturday, May 3rd, I had the honor of partaking in one of the most important and rewarding programs within my first year here at the Islamic Society of Baltimore (ISB). The ISB volunteers conducted a Seerat-un-Nabi essay and quiz program for our children ages 8 -12. Alhamdulillah, the love, zeal and confidence that our community children expressed was truly a sight to behold! The amount of time our children took to not only prepare their speeches but also how eloquently they presented was absolutely wonderful to see firsthand. Establishing the love of Allah Subhanahu wa Taala and our beloved messenger, Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam in the next generation is the collective and primary responsibility of our entire community and I strongly encourage us to continue having and supporting programs like these that help encourage our little ones to excel! I want to thank all the volunteers who helped coordinate the blessed gathering and also want to acknowledge each and every child for participating in the program.
