The major visible factors and actors on the scene are; TERRORISM; Which is just a tactics, at best a pain, embarrassing, resolve breaking, will sapping, punishment strategy aimed at bleeding out through thousand cuts. This is at best a nursery or the fertilizer to create favouarable players/actors as a WAY to achieve a part of the END! Psycho-Social and Politico-Economic picture; this is the time that we can come together build resolve, improve civil law and order mechanisms, do course corrections, reconfigure judicial cum legal aspects, re-organise governance and make commitment to fight our collective enemies and destabilizing factors. It can only be achieved through a reformed education, human resource development, superior ideology and better socio-economic alternatives. The Foreign Factor; There is hence a need to scrutinize who are the actual perpetrators, brains, nerves, handlers, financers and employers of the tools and the means to achieve their perceived strategic objectives. They perceive ENDS, desired end states, major effects, course alternatives, mind control, shock therapy intensity, regulate and maintain intensity, temperature and affects based approach on the envisaged covet applications. The ball is certainly in Indian court! We need to continue engaging with Afghanistan and US vigorously pursuing building/repairing trust spectrum. While our constructive and participatory engagements with Iran, China, Russia, France, Germany, Australia must continue. On the internal front; Only rationality, sanity, building capacities, developing consensus, level headedness and steadfastness can help us to fight the menace of extremism irrespective what shape, type, cause or character it adopts. Build resolve, commitment, resilience, will and capacity and not anger, revenge or retaliatory attitudes. The education and nation building are interdependent. The major effort needs to be focused on education sector reforms which must include ethics, value system, social behaviors, civic sense, communal harmony and society in specific. National security concept should hinge upon human security and it heavily depends upon economics, trade, commerce, livelihoods, employments and essential services too. Enhance police effectiveness and capacities, constitute and allow local bodies empowerment, focus on intelligence & security network and reorganization. Dire need to develop talent cum merit based political & civil governance system with check and balances and accountability. Introduce constitutional as well as judicial reforms where necessary.
