Refuse to let the pride I have for the people in my community turn to SHAME! To the folks who worked so hard for our kids I praise you….to the kids who will continue to soar, I praise you….to our teachers & administrators I praise you, lastly to those of you who could see beyond your WALLET and see the future in our children I praise you! I will never understand how the people in our community can justify a NO vote! What goes around will come around….these kids you said NO to will someday make decisions that will impact your life, they will be your doctors, teachers, and community members and they WILL remember this! So very sad to wake my boys and tell them that the community the LOVE was one of the FEW in the area that did NOT have their back! Hold our heads high FALCONS!!! We can say only 90 or so voters did NOT have the best interest of the kids in mind yesterday….I hope they take the money they save and take their family out to dinner to celebrate!
