Regarding Haslars History it is always a great pleasure to meet people associated with the Great Men of Haslar and Tony Voss is a direct descendent of Sir John Richardson. The Headstone (in the memorial gardens) is of Sir Johns wife Mary who died at Haslar from Post Partum Fever having delivered Kendall Richardson who sadly died some time later. It was a pleasure to show Tony - Richardsons residence at Haslar and since I have learnt much from Tony regarding the great mans life, such that he went to school with one Robbie Burns. Sir John will be remembered when roads within Haslar are named.
