Regarding date for marriage Someone questioned me – why suitable dates for marriage in Dec. 12 & 13 in 2013 absent in your Ephemeris, while those are recommended in other panchangas? My humble submission is: • Dates having nakshatra occupied by malefic (s), i.e., Paapa Yuti are ignored as per the recommendation of Shastra. Possible result of Yuti is following. • Yuti by Sun- lack of prosperity, Mars- serious trouble, Venus- other relation, Saturn- no private comforts, Rahu &Ketu- subversion. • On Dec. 12 &13, Ashwini has Ketu yuti. • The nakshatra falling in Vedha (volcanic) by any graha on the date in question is strictly prohibited. Following paired nakshatras mutually fall in Vedha- • Ashwini & P. Pha, Bharani & Anuradha, Krittika & Vishakha, Rohini & Abhijit, Mrig & U. Asha, Ardra & P. asha., Punar. & Moola, Pushya & Jyeshtha, Shlesha & dhanistha, Magha & Shravana, • Revati &U. Pha., hasta & U.Bha., Chitra & P. Bha., Swati & Shatbhisha, • On Dec. 12, revati and Mars in U. Pha. Cause Vedha.
