Regarding our severe threat Wednesday: After taking a detailed look at all of the latest data, our biggest threat continues to be widespread damaging winds and some hail. Still have to nail down exact timing, but area of thunderstorms will race through our area after developing in the eastern plains. (currently looks like late Wednesday morning arrival). They could pack a punch with winds of 60 mph or greater in some spots. As of now, the area most at risk is the southern half of the viewing area and further south through central Indiana and Ohio. This is still several days away and will be reevaluated this week. In summary: southern half of viewing area and central Indiana most at risk, widespread damaging winds, hail, and heavy rain all possible. Will monitor the formation and nail down who will be most impacted this week. Keep checking back to wane and NewsChannel 15 for the latest.
