Regarding the 2015 rule change requiring 200tw tires in the Street classes: Would anyone protest me running 140tw Federal RS-Rs instead of 200tw Rivals/RS3s/ZIIs locally next season? I have not seen a single test which suggests the 140tw (marketing ploy?) Federal is as quick as any of these other 200tw tires, although it is significantly cheaper. I would prefer to run the slower, cheaper Federals, but I might change my mind if its going to be an issue. The car in question is a Mazda2 that I expect would be classed in STF. Thanks in advance!
