Regarding the Capcom is selling or Nintendo is buying Capcom rumors and speculations, theres something that needs to be cleared out right now: The only thing that happened was that the Capcom executive board agreed to lift the external buy protection. What this means is that all shareholders and investors are free to sell their stock to whoever they want, even if another company ends up with a majority ownership. So they just unlocked a door that was previously locked, and nothing more. They are not selling, and so far there are no announcement of negotiations of any kind. And even if there are plans to buy the company, from Nintendo or anybody else, they would have to deal with the shareholders instead of the company as a whole, and try to get a majority stake from the stock bought from those shareholders.
