Regarding the Clean India Mission. The MCGM has absolutely no idea as to what it stands for. Even a cursory glance at the road sides and street sides, and we can see the incredible amount of garbage, litter, debris piled on. This morning, 2014 OCT 24, as usual, I just saw an MCGM garbage compactor, as usual in the middle of the broad, and the employees putting the garbage into the compactor from the containers and drums. But that was what was the previous days , while enormous quantities line the foot paths,awaiting the sweeping today :p It will never be completely cleared unless they sweep, collect, and carry away in the night itself, enforce this eight year old law on all legal and illegal hawkers, shops, industries, individuals, on a zero tolerance, no nonsense basis mcgm.gov.in/irj/portal/anonymous/qlblaw
