Regarding the God or No God Debate being held at the Waycross Middle School Auditorium on the evening of September 17: 1) The BOE rents school facilities to many groups, and they cant exclude one without excluding all. 2) As Christians we live by faith, but so do atheists (that God doesnt exist). The difference is, there is far more evidence for our faith than theirs. We stand on a solid foundation. 3) Running from questions about our faith gives credibility to the atheists by default. 4) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (1 Peter 3:15 KJV) 5) If the atheist wants to know the reason for our hope, we should be prepared to tell them. 6) Im praying for Bro Rip Snow to be filled with the Holy Spirit and wisdom that will confound all the reason of the enemy. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think. (Feel free to share.)
