Regarding the Neppe-Close paradigm shift: Question: What are some of the major implications of your new theory? Answer: A new, deeper understanding of space and time, brain function and mind, and discoveries of heretofore unknown laws of nature, including connections between matter, energy, space, time and consciousness. Albert Einstein said “I want to know God’s thoughts”. Since Einstein’s death in 1955, mainstream scientists and science education have become increasingly materialistic. Many mainstream scientists today are openly atheistic, saying things like: “Everything can be explained in terms of matter and energy, we have no need to invoke the divine.” and “The more we learn about the nature of reality, the more meaningless it becomes”. This attitude has filtered down to the person on the street, resulting in immoral actions and violence. If there is no meaning at the bottom of it all, why not do whatever you damn well please? The new paradigm, however, brings scientific evidence that there IS purpose and meaning to Reality, with proof that we’re all connected at a deeper level. This will also filter down to the average person, resulting in a more moral world. Does anyone think this is needed?
