Regarding the fact that we might have to pull back from the Healthy Utah plan because the feds wont live up to their end of the deal and that the public might be upset: First, weve done it before when we had to repeal vision and dental during the recession, and no, it wasnt fun, but we did it. Second, I hope some members of the public are even here to be here to be upset. Looking at people like Charlotte, a Utahn who has two jobs, who testified today regarding her battle with cancer, I pray with every fiber of my being that shell be here to be upset. The sad reality is that she might not be. And, that is a cross I am not willing to bear, not without a fight I won’t. Remember, she’s a taxpayer, too.
