Regarding the luxury rental we posted earlier: We completely understand that few of us have money to spend on a week getaway when were in the midst of caregiving, let alone the time. However, we recognize our post came off that way. It must have seemed like an affront to those struggling with the financial burden of caregiving. And we are truly sorry to anyone upset by this suggestion. This does lead us to a topic we hoped to discuss with you… The unfortunate fact is that it costs money to keep our non-profit running. And its all being paid for out of pocket right now. Were actively pursuing grants and sponsors to keep our incredible community of over 44,000 intact. We keep our site and our blog ad-free because it is meant to serve as an Internet oasis--we can visit, share, read, relax and be lifted, without anyone selling anything. But to keep the lights on so to speak, we might need to, in the future, push out a sponsored post, one that fits our mission statement, every so often. But were not making any decision without your feedback. How many relevant sponsorship posts would you be comfortable seeing?
