Public funding of election campaigns and term limits may be necessary to save representative democracy. Id like to see 4 year terms for the House with a 2 term limit. Elect half the House every 2 years. Senate: 2, 6-year terms. Id propose a reasonable housing allowance for Senate and House, too. Or maybe a dormitory.
