Regarding the situation of the DOIs meetings. Some may have their suspicions while others may have their interpretations of the truth. As for me I have my questions regarding our peoples stance and direction. Most of us including the occupiers have known for decades the status of our nation. However, to date, how close are we to obtaining justice? Weve had all these years to unite as a people yet the majority are crying out that only we can build or rebuild our nation and not a foreign entity. But with the various organizations claiming to be the kingdom, it not only confuses the rest of our people but it also makes it difficult for the ocupiers to choose which one to dialog with. If we cant unite under one nation it places the burden on the U.S. government to go through a process to select one. While we do not agree with their process, what other option are we giving them? As it stands, I can see none. Its like holding up a found diamond ring in a crowd of claimants. How would you choose which one to turn it over to? There can be only one. A nation to nation relationship can only be started when one that represents our people is agreed upon to represent us as a whole. I find it a waste of time and effort to be present at any meetings when the same arguments are presented and no solution is offered. The regurgitation and redundancy of what has already been said does nothing to move us closer to recognition. Weve had years to resolve this and are nowhere closer to where we want to be. We have to start somewhere and shooting off emotions without a plan to resolve our responsibility in a plausible and realistic manner sets us back instead of moving us forward. I wont even consider attending any of the meetings unless someone can tell me how it will prove to be productive.
