Regardless of the age of the athletes or the sport, we respect and appreciate coaches of significance. We had an email exchange this week with a U11 baseball coach worried about a talented but low confidence athlete. At our request, he followed up with a phone call. As with most cases like this, there are many factors including a recent divorce of his parents. The total focus of this coach was the young athlete and what he could do to help him get through this period of his life with confidence – pure caring and selflessness. Hopefully the materials and conversation will help but because of who he is, we will be open to work with this coach forever. You got this coach and we are thankful for you!
