Regardless of whether we are on or off the battlefield, we always take care of each other. This is part of what defines the American Gunfighter. One of our own is in need of our help and we ask that you take the time to see where you can help and to keep him in your prayers… A Marine with multiple combat tours, Nathan Rogers decided to continue serving his country and his community by becoming a police officer. In March of this year after experiencing difficulty conducting routine tasks, he went to the hospital and underwent multiple types of testing. On May 8, 2014, doctors at Vanderbilt performed a brain biopsy and he was diagnosed with Stage 3 brain cancer at the age of 30. Prior to his initial complications, he continued to stay fit but now requires a high level of care and will soon begin intensive chemotherapy. His current insurance has covered some of the initial costs, but it is uncertain as to how long it will continue and how much it will cover given his inability to work. In addition to this, after the chemotherapy he is looking at speech, occupational, and physical therapy costs plus the usual cost of living while he is unable to work. A friend of the family created a page where donations can be placed to offset these growing expenses. Click the link below to be directed to the donations page. Semper Fidelis
