Regina Ray Rigdon, 55, of Quitman, passed away on September 24, 2014 at Rush Hospital, Meridian, MS. She was born on September 2, 1959 to Charles and Carlene (Johnson) Ellzey in Meridian, MS. She was a member of the local 624 Operating/Engineering Union. Regina is survived by her daughter, Christi Lucas; grandchildren, Kayla Cooper, Kelsey Lucas, Kasey Lucas, and Cody Lewis; great-grandchildren, Paisley Cooper and Ryder Cooper; parents, Carlene and Charles Ellzey; sister, Becky McKinnon Porter and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her son, Justin Ray Scrivner and father, William Ray McKinnon. Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2014, after 5:00 pm at Wrights Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014, 1:00 pm at the Wrights Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating. Burial will take place in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Suqualena, MS at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Charles Ellzey, Cody Lucas, Shawn Smith, Paul Joiner, Dewayne Joiner, Steven Cooper, and Clint Smith.
