Region D Water Planning Group meets at 1 p.m. Wed., April 16, in the Mount Pleasant Civic Center. Agenda items include: Consideration and action on Regional Water Planning Contract between the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) and the Northeast Texas Municipal Water District (NETMWD), TWDB Contract No. 1148301315, Amendment No’s 3 & 4. Consideration and action on a Public Notice that NETRWPG is accepting nominations for eight voting members for terms starting September 1, 2014. Consideration and action to authorize the engineering consultant and NETRWPG Chair to work to address comments received and developed in the final prioritization process involving the NETRWPG. This agenda item includes authorization to submit the prioritization list of projects within Region D of NETRWPG to the TWDB. Update and discussion of conflict resolution with Region C. Consideration and action on authorization to submit brief to TWDB concerning interregional conflict. Possible action could include authorizing Jim Thompson to submit a brief on behalf of Region D to the TWDB.
