Region III Band may have come and gone, but the memories will last a long time. It has been an honor to serve as this years host director. I am privileged for us to have been host to so many talented students and their outstanding professional music educators. The teamwork displayed by our Music Boosters, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and the Educational System in State College was nothing short of outstanding. Thanks to Dr. Bundy from the Penn State University for serving as guest conductor and giving our students the opportunity to engage is such a rewarding musical experience. I am so glad that 18 of my students had the opportunity to work with him for three days at the festival. AND, all of the SC curricular band ensembles were able to observe rehearsals during the day on Thursday and Friday - super cool!! And now, getting ready for PMEA All-States in ten days, making preparations for our Thespian production of Children Of Eden, and Spring Adjudication to Washington, D.C. at the end of April. GO STATE!
