Region Under Ice Storm Warning Visit Tripcheck – Call 511 BEND – Weather forecasters of the National Weather Service have issued an “ice storm warning” for much of Central Oregon, predicting accumulations of as much as a quarter inch of ice from freezing rain overnight. An Ice Storm Warning is issued when significant accumulations of ice are expected...resulting in the possibility of downed tree limbs and power lines. Ice covered highways and roads may cause very treacherous driving conditions. Travelers are strongly advised to adjust their plans to take the ice storm warning into account. This warning affects Bend, Redmond, Prineville and Madras.
