Regional Director of Operations-Home Healthcare US Southeastern Region Doeker Resource Partners - Southeastern US, Atlanta, GA (Greater Atlanta Area) Job Description Title: Regional Director of Operations-Home Healthcare Location: US Southeastern Region Multi-site/Multi-state Region Job Description Currently we are under retainer with a national home healthcare & hospice agency in need of an experienced Regional Director of Operations-(RDO) Home Healthcare for their US Southeastern Region. The RDO will be responsible for supporting quality care through program oversight, implementation, and adherence to standard operating procedures, as well as, all federal and state regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Clinical Operations, Business Development and Census Growth, Financial Control, Compliance with corporate policies and procedures and all state and federal regulatory standards and all other areas of General Business Operations Management. They are seeking a strong leader with home healthcare experience who can grow their business in their service areas. This opening is a permanent, full-time position with an excellent salary, incentive compensation based upon production and company benefits you would expect from a large corporation. Responsibilities Provides leadership and support within assigned area of responsibility. Ensures on-boarding of Executive Directors. Provides assistance in analyzing and maintaining office financial and performance indicators. Maintains current knowledge contractual, program policy, service and license compliance requirements for agency program. Supervises and evaluates the functions of the region and staff providing direction to departmental efforts to hire professional service-delivery personnel and to attract and retain a competent workforce. Establishes, communicates, and maintains a vision that reflects the organizations goals, priorities, and appropriate professional standards. Organizes workflow, assigns priorities, devises strategies and utilizes technology for achieving desired outcomes. Effectively assess and monitors program and organizational performance to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and agency policies, procedures and practices. Interprets standards of health care, both clinical and preventative, within parameters set by state and federal laws; coordinates the delivery of care through a highly technical trained staff. Oversees the audits of client charts, client satisfaction surveys and all service delivery within the region by conducting quarterly program audits. Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with community, health resources and agencies. Work with sales team to identify and pursue opportunities for new markets/initiatives including joint ventures, industry and government. Provide sales related support to market/branch management to ensure area sales. Guides Administrators/Executive Directors in all operational areas including process and personnel management. Spends quality time in branch locations and provides professional development and training to achieve optimum staff performance. Knowledge of Federal, State Regulations and requirements that mandate home health agency functions. Knowledge of federal and state resources available for use in organizational programs. Ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams. Skill in preparing and analyzing budgets and financial reports. Ability to prioritize and concurrently manage multiple tasks. Ability to effectively evaluate performance and take corrective actions when necessary. Education and Experience Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health or human services field and a minimum of 3-5 years agency operations and clinical management experience, with a minimum of 2 years’ management experience in home health or hospice. Or have the equivalent training and experience in health service administration and at least two (2) year of full-time supervisory or administrative experience in home health care, hospice or related health programs. RN license and graduate from an approved nursing school with a license as a RN is required.
