Regional neighbors accept Friendlies after cancellation of USVI Carnival Cup Monday 15th December, 2015 –ST GEORGES- The National Senior Womens team will not be traveling to St. Croix, US Virgin Islands later this month. This is a result of correspondence received by the Grenada Football Association from that associations President, Hilldaren Frederick. The USVI President letter stated in part “due to internal problems currently prevailing in our association, we wish to advise of the cancellations of this tournament As a result the Grenada Football Association immediately contacted the Barbados Football Association and the St. Vincent & the Grenadines Football Federation to secure some friendlies and both have since agreed to accept our request. The National Womens Team will leave the island to play two matches in St. Vincent and one in Barbados against their National female teams. The Grenada Football Association wish to extend appreciation to the Barbados Football Association and the St. Vincent & the Grenadines Football Federation for accepting its last minute request. The team leaves the island on December 18th and returns on December 24th
