This session will also cover basic wills drafting including remainder clauses, survivorship clauses and avoiding partial intestacy as well as execution issues. The Arts Law Centre of Australia has been assisting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island artists to make wills and advising the next of kin of deceased Indigenous artists how to navigate the intestacy laws for over eight years as part of the Artists in the Black outreach legal advice program.
