Registered Officers Report on the 2013 Federal Senate Election. HEMP nominated groups in all six states. Our average primary vote nationwide was 0.71% which placed us 10th out of 54 registered parties. By State; WA 1.07% 8th Qld 0.90% 9th NSW 0.69% 11th Vic 0.59% 10th SA 0.58% 11th Tas 0.51% 11th In Queensland, the target state in our preference strategy, Hemp was the last party to be excluded. We reached 6.95%, which was just 0.63% short of getting ahead of the Greens candidate. Only one additional preference from any one of either Katter, the Lib.Dems or the Shooters would seen Jim Moylan elected as a Senator instead of the third Liberal.
