Registration began on Monday, September 9. At 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, September 11, Qualifiers who have met the qualifying standards by 10 minutes or more can submit their application for entry. A Message from the BAA: Some of those who submitted their entry for the 2014 Boston Marathon have received confirmation from the B.A.A. Most of those who have not received confirmation of acceptance by email from the B.A.A. are still having their qualifying performance validated and verified. The amount of time that it takes for the B.A.A. to validate a qualifying performance can vary from race to race and depending on the data submitted on the application. All those who submitted their entry will have received a reference ID number upon submission, which holds your place. Therefore, it is not necessary to send an email in follow-up to our office. In addition, it should be noted that we do not reject entries because of typos. Thank you for your cooperation during the registration process.
