Registration for the Real World Design Challenge has been extended to January 10, 2015. This is a fantastic opportunity for high school students to gain hands-on experience working with a real-life scenario to design an Unmanned Aerial System to be used in precision agriculture. Each team that signs up receives $1 million worth of professional grade software and the help of industry professionals as mentors to complete the challenge. The winning state team receives an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. for the national competition.
