Registration is open again for the next Photography Basics course! Space is limited and usually fills up quickly for the first part of the year because people are getting new cameras for Christmas (YAY!) This course is geared towards those with DSLR cameras or at minimum shutter and aperture priority modes. Details: If youre stuck in the auto mode or the scene modes and/or just want to learn how to take control of your camera to get some of the amazing results you see from others, this class is for you! We will discuss the various features on your camera including shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, etc. as well as learn how composition and lighting techniques can take your images from a snapshot to a picture youd want to hang on your wall. The class is being held at the Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. It starts Thursday, February 26 and we will meet once per week for four weeks. There will be classroom instruction, hands-on work, and fun projects.
