Regretfully I will be unable to attend the reunion. However, I appreciate the hard work that must have gone in to preparing it. Best wishes to all. Name: Ryan Ketcheson Current City: Genesee, Idaho (Population 965) Places lived since High School: Albuquerque, NM; Mexco; Orem, UT; Provo, UT; Moscow, ID; Genesee, ID Schooling: Studied at Utah Valley State College. Occupation: Director of Operations at Rocky Mountain Reloading (I play with bullets all day.) I also own a small marketing consulting firm. Hobbies: Hanging out with my wife and children, cycling, swimming, hiking, shooting sports, reading, disc golf, walking, and scouting. Biggest Trial: My last child was born 9 weeks early and died twice. He and my wife spent the first five weeks of his life in the neonatal intensive care unit in Spokane while my other four children and I were two hours to the south. Thanks to kind neighbors and the mercy of Heavenly Father, we triumphed and he is now a happy and healthy six year-old. Now every Christmas we celebrate our sons survival by visiting local hospitals and the Ronald McDonald House to give away baby blankets. We make the blankets that we can and receive a lot of other blankets from friends, family, and neighbors who want to participate. Christmases have become truly magical! Biggest Triumph since HS: Like many others in high school who participated in sports and then one day stopped working out and started packing on the pounds, I got fat. I found myself at 270 pounds just three months ago. Since then I have been working out more and eating less and I have lost 40 pounds in the last 12 weeks! It feels great, so I plan to continue this trend. However, my greatest accomplishment has has to be my marriage to Melanie Heaton Ketcheson, the love of my life. 16 years down and an eternity to go! Items crossed off the Bucket List: I finally made it to Disneyland for the very first time, last summer with my wife and kids. I have a job that I love and employees who love working for me. Attended the Albuquerque Temple dedication. Took my kids to a session of General Conference. Major weight loss (still in process). Swimming in the ocean. Drive a forklift. without damaging anyone or anything. Own a Dog - Mollie is amazing! Own a home. Plant and cultivate a successful garden. Help boys earn the rank of Eagle Scout. Visiting LDS church historical sites with my family. Breaking a 2x4 in 12 shots with a muzzle loader. Building my very own AR15. And finally, teaching my children to love fishing! Items Still on the Bucket List: Go hunting and actually get something. Take my wife to Hawaii. Serve an LDS mission with my wife. Visit Hauns Mill. Finish College. What makes me happy: Family time is the best. I love family activities, including dates with my wife and daughters and Man Dates with my sons. I also enjoy serving with the Boy Scouts and occasionally spouting off about some political issue on Facebook.
